Is Kendrick Lamar OUT HIS MIND?

Kendrick Lamar

If Hip Hop/Rap Beef was like Basketball we would see a good game while guys shake hands and leave everything on the court. The problem is Hip Hop/Rap is supposedly operated by artists who actually live what they lay on wax. They ain't no studio gangstas! We talking former drug dealers, gang members and thugs (supposedly).

Hip Hop/Rap Beef caused the deaths of 2pac and Notorious BIG. Rarely do we see Hip Hop/Rap Beef end respectfully. Kendrick Lamar, an artist who has an impeccable amateur rap record has decided to step his weight up and become one of Hip Hop/Rap heavyweights.

Its important to note Kendrick Lamar album is set to release August 27, 2013 which is probably why he named dropped several rappers in his verse on Big Sean's rap song called 'Control'. Mr. Lamar diss (which in Hip Hop/Rap means disrespect) addressed several rappers: Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake, and a few others.

He stated he's basically trying to end their Rap career's and take their fan base via lyrical competition. Click the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPxXcQ77DDM

The verse is quite witty, raspy and raw. The vicissitudes in Kendrick's voice sounds like he's ready for war. He sounds angry and disappointed. Some of the guys he dissed he actually did collaboration songs with. It sounds more like a sucka punch more than anything. I'd rather a man meet me in the ring heads up then sucka punch me while I'm not expecting it.

In his tirade Mr. Lamar puts himself in Hip Hop/Rap royalty as Jay Z, Nas, Eminem, and Andre 3000...even Kendrick knows that's a stretch of the imagination. He claims his flow is the same flow that put the Rap game on a crutch. I'm guessing he's relating to the fear that existed when 2pac and Notorious BIG was beefing/battling?

"...Live in the basement, church pews and funeral faces".

He goes on to crown himself King of the Coast. I'm guessing he means the West Coast? But to the contrary, he claims to be King of both Coast (East & West) and crowns himself King of New York. Not really sure in what capacity does he see himself as "King of New York?"

Anytime you call yourself KING of a City, State, or Coast(s) that implies Street Gangs, the Mafia and Underground Organizations actually respect your word. If you send word for Lil Wayne to be murdered when he performs in California your goons are going to make it happen even if they have no clue who's behind the hit. A King of a City, State, or Coast has influence over all Underground Organizations. This is why 2pac blamed Notorious BIG for him being shot and almost killed!

BIG was claiming to be King of New York so in Pac eye's BIG either setup the hit or knew who did the hit. Nothing moves in New York underground unless the King okays it. I'm pretty sure Kendrick Lamar doesn't fully understand the depth of calling himself King?

I'm still lost by the hook in his verse "I don't smoke crack, motherfucker I sell it?" Not really sure who he is referring to? All in all we love blood, we love violence, we love sweat, we love competition. Hopefully Kendrick is up to the challenge he started. Lastly, 2pac didn't start beef, he simply responded and addressed it.
